Why does nobody mention how fridge seals can warp in humid basements
Last summer I put a spare fridge in my damp basement and the rubber seal started curling up at the corners after about two months. I ended up swapping it out but the cold air was leaking so bad the compressor ran nonstop. Anyone else run into seal problems from moisture buildup in storage spaces?

Have you tried using a dehumidifier near the fridge to stop the rubber warping?

Got a dehumidifier in my basement now and it fixed the seal curling problem completely.
