What's the move for old compressors - scrap em or sell the copper?

I found 4 dead compressors in my truck last week and I'm torn between taking a crowbar to them for the copper or just tossing them at the scrap yard whole for $5 a pop. Any of you guys ever cash out big by pulling the windings, or is it not worth the elbow grease?

Wait, is that like a 2 for 1 deal or do you have to figure out how many crowbar hits per $5 worth of whatever we're breaking into? Sounds like someone's trying to do math after huffing glue fumes. I'm guessing the answer is "way too many" or "call a locksmith instead." Honestly, the real math problem is figuring out how to explain that to a judge later. Good luck with that, buddy.
