Spent $200 on a fancy multimeter and it FAILED in 3 months
I bought a Fluke 179 last spring for a bunch of fridge compressor checks. After about 20 uses the capacitance reading started jumping all over the place. Called Fluke support and they basically told me tough luck since I didn't register the warranty. Anyone else had issues with new Fluke stuff or am I just unlucky?

I read Fluke's quality has slid hard since they got bought out.

Yeah @walker.max my buddy at the shop picked up a new 179 multimeter last month and the probe wires started cracking within a week. He compared it to his 15 year old one and the difference in build quality is night and day.
