Hit 500 fridges logged in my repair notebook and didn't even notice
I keep a cheap spiral notebook in the van with every job written down, model, symptom, fix, and I flipped back through it on a slow Tuesday and counted 500 fridge calls since I started it. The weird part is number 500 was a Whirlpool in Lubbock with a bad defrost heater, same exact failure as number 12, and I fixed it in 20 minutes because I could look up what I did the first time. That notebook has saved me more callbacks than any forum thread ever did. Does anyone else keep a paper log, or am I the last guy doing it this way?
