Hit 200 microwave repairs last month and still didn't expect that one
When I hit my 200th microwave fix last month, I realized I'd replaced more door switches than I have fingers on both hands. Anyone else lose count of how many of those little plastic nubs snap off as you're walking out the door?

Man @the_zara is right about the housing cracking thing but I think you're overcomplicating it a bit with that forty number, I've done maybe twenty something and stopped counting after the first year.

Are you really out here counting microwave repairs like it's a competition or something? Sounds like you're just having bad luck with cheap parts honestly.

Hey come on now @stella_murray, tracking your repair numbers is just basic professionalism lol. Door switches on microwaves are a known weak point, I've probably swapped out forty plus of them this year alone. The real trick is learning to pop them off without cracking the housing, those little plastic nubs are basically designed to fail.
