Hit 1,000 compressor swaps last Tuesday and it felt weirdly big
I was just finishing up a fridge repair in Beaverton when I realized this was my 1,000th compressor swap since I started tracking back in 2018. I keep a little log in a spiral notebook (old school, I know) and the number caught me off guard. Has anyone else hit a random milestone like this in their work and felt surprised by it?

Did you ever think about framing that notebook page or something? Like maybe take a photo of the entry and stick it on the wall in your shop. I figure with a number like 1000 you could do a little certificate for yourself too, just a piece of paper that says "1,000 compressors" with the date. It sounds silly but those small wins matter more than people realize. My old partner used to keep a tally on his garage door for every custom job he finished, painted over it when he sold the place but the indents were still there.
