Was gonna binge the whole Chimera Ant arc in one weekend, tried the manga instead
I had a free weekend and decided to rewatch Hunter x Hunter, but episode 76 hit and I remembered the pacing drags hard in the middle. So I grabbed volume 20 of the manga off my shelf instead, which covers roughly episodes 76 to 96, and flew through it in about two sittings. The fights read way faster and I caught small art details the anime skips, like Kite's chain design in the background panels. Anyone here switch to source material mid arc? Did it ruin the anime for you or did both versions still work?
