TIL skipping the opening recaps in One Piece saves like 40 hours total

I got tired of slogging through 900+ episodes so I started skipping the 2 minute recap and preview on each one. At 20 episodes a week that adds up to basically a whole work day I get back. Has anyone else found other time-wasters in long shows that they cut out?

Right, that's basically a part time job just reminding yourself what happened. My brain already feels like it's running on dial-up, so I'm basically watching recaps of recaps at this point.
