Tagging spoilers by episode count fixed our forum's newcomer issue
I noticed fresh faces in our anime chat stayed silent due to untagged plot reveals. Our group agreed to note episode numbers when talking about key scenes. It took a week of gentle prompts for everyone to get the hang of it. Now, more members speak up without worrying about ruining shows. Solving this made our discussions way more open and fun.

Tagging by episode number was a brilliant move. It's tough getting everyone on board with new rules, but that week of reminders paid off. Your forum sounds way more welcoming now.

Seriously, we did the same thing with post flairs for our movie club forum. I mean, it was rough at first getting people to actually use them. We just had to keep pinning examples of the right way to do it for like two weeks straight. Once everyone got it, finding old discussions got so much easier.

Reminders about tagging help everyone learn, but the real win is how it changes group behavior over time. People start self-policing and calling out untagged spoilers without mod input. That shift makes the whole forum feel safer and more collaborative.
