Switched from simulcasts to waiting for full releases last month

I used to watch Attack on Titan week by week as each episode dropped, but the cliffhangers were killing me. Last month I decided to wait until the whole season of Demon Slayer aired before starting it. Does anyone else find the show flows way better when you binge it all at once?

Binge watching is the only way my ADHD brain survives modern anime honestly. I tried watching Jujutsu Kaisen week to week and by episode 4 I forgot what happened in episode 2 because I was too busy screaming at the TV for 20 minutes straight. Waiting for the full release means I can decompress the emotional damage in one solid weekend instead of spreading it out over three months like a psychopath. Plus my snack budget thanks me for only having to stock up once instead of every Thursday night like some kind of prepper.

You know, I hear you completely. There's just something about waiting week to week that feels like torture when you're already invested in the story and the characters. I tried watching Attack on Titan that way and by the time the next episode rolled around I had to rewatch the previous one just to remember who was still alive. It really does turn into a whole production every Thursday night, stocking up snacks and setting aside time like it's a part time job. I think binge watching just lets you actually enjoy the show instead of spending half the week anxious about what happens next. Your snack budget comment made me laugh because it's absolutely true, one big shopping trip beats having to plan around a weekly schedule any day.
