Rewatching the first episode of Attack on Titan after finishing season 4 hit different...

I went back to episode 1 last night and seeing Eren all naive and crying under that tree made me realize how much he changed over 10 years of airing, and I don't know if I feel bad for him or respect him more now.

Best thing you can do is just let it sit for a day or two before jumping into a rewatch marathon.

Jumped into the same rewatch last week. Seeing Eren's whole "I'll kill them all" speech knowing what happens just gutted me. @fisher.adam is totally right though, I had to take a breather after episode 3. That naive kid in the trees didn't know what was coming for him.

Hold up, I actually disagree here. Rewatching it with the ending in mind makes the early stuff even better for me. Knowing how far he falls makes those quiet forest scenes hit different, like you're watching a slow motion trainwreck and you can't look away.
