Noticed everyone in the new episode threads is just posting reaction gifs now
Was scrolling through the r/anime discussion for that new mecha show last night. Literally every top comment was just a gif of a character screaming or crying. Nobody actually talking about the pacing or the animation cuts. At 300+ comments too. Kinda makes me wonder if people even watch the shows anymore or just clip farm.

@nora_dixon I gotta ask though, are SpongeBob memes really that bad? Like yeah they get overused but there's something kinda timeless about that show. Some of those reaction memes hit different when you grew up watching the actual episodes. I still crack up at the Choirmaster Patrick ones.
