Noticed a huge change in how people talk about the new Bleach episodes

I was looking at old forum threads from 2012 about the original anime ending, and the mood was just so sad and angry. Everyone was talking about how it felt rushed and unfinished. But the posts from last month, after the new 'Thousand-Year Blood War' arc started airing, are totally different. People are excited about the animation and saying it's fixing old problems. It's like the whole feeling around the show flipped in ten years because they finally adapted the rest of the story properly. Has anyone else seen a fandom's opinion do a complete 180 like that?

Just gotta let old anger go when the new stuff finally gets it right.

Can you really just flip a switch and stop being mad? I get why people still hold a grudge. That original ending was a gut punch. The new stuff is better, no doubt. But the memory of getting burned sticks with you. I'm not sure apologies or fixes always undo that.

Honestly, I still see a lot of the old anger. The new stuff looks great, but it doesn't erase how bad that original ending felt. The disappointment is baked in for a lot of us.
