I thought Fullmetal Alchemist was overhyped for 8 years, then my buddy in Austin made me watch the Nina episode
I sat through 3 episodes of Brotherhood back in 2015 and wrote it off as generic shonen trash. Two weeks ago I finally gave it another shot and finished all 64 episodes in 6 days, so now I can't tell if I was wrong back then or just wasn't ready for it.

Honestly the first few episodes of Brotherhood are rough. They rush the stuff the 03 version already covered so newcomers get whiplash. Nina is where it stops being a kids show about alchemy punches. You weren't wrong in 2015, you just bounced off the worst possible starting point. Six days for 64 eps is wild though, respect.
