Blew $400 on that crowdfunded anime Blu-ray that still hasn't shipped

Backed this show in 2021 cause the trailer looked fire and they promised a ton of extras. Two years later and the company went silent, no refunds, nada. has anyone else lost money on those Kickstarter anime projects?

Holy crap, same thing happened to me with a different Kickstarter anime. @derek_schmidt6 I backed that "Cyber City Oedo" reprint too actually, but mine did show up after like a year and a half with a note that was basically a typo filled apology. Had a whole booklet of production sketches that looked like they were printed on someone's home printer lmao. Still wild that companies can just ghost after taking that much cash

Man is it really that deep though? Like yeah its annoying if it didnt show up but its just a reprint of some old OVA, not like life or death stuff. Kickstarter delays happen all the time, i'd just give it a little more time before freaking out.
