My subscription stack is quietly eating my paycheck.

I added up all my recurring charges for apps and streaming last night. The total was shockingly close to what I pay for rent. Do you rotate services or just cancel the ones you don't use daily?

My HBO Max subscription just renewed for another month of me not watching it, which is the story of my life. I try to do a quarterly purge where I cancel anything I haven't opened in 30 days (the guilt is real). But then a new show pops up on a service I just dropped, and the whole cycle starts over. It feels less like entertainment and more like a part-time job managing it all. The real kicker is how small each charge seems alone, but together they become a real bill.

Cancelled all my subs except the one I use daily. I check my bank bill each month and drop anything I haven't used. Like, I had Spotify for music but only used YouTube, so I cut it. This saves me about $40 a month. I swap between Netflix and Disney+ when new shows come out. It takes some effort, but the saved money helps.

Your quarterly purge ever make you wish for an auto-cancel button?
