Maybe it's just me, but I overlooked the impact of proper attic ventilation. After a summer of lower AC bills, I'm prioritizing it in every inspection.

Felt the exact same shock last year! Our upstairs was always a sauna, and the AC ran constantly. Finally checked the attic vents and half were blocked by insulation. Cleared them out and the temperature up there dropped twenty degrees practically overnight. It's wild how we install these complex systems but skip the simple, free-flowing air that makes them work efficiently.
