My try at writing letters led to a deeper talk than any group chat

I started sending notes to my aunt after she kept pushing it. All my buddies say it's a waste of time, but we got into real stuff faster. Who else has found that older habits beat new ones for close talks?

Seriously though, what's the longest you've waited for a reply before it felt weird?

Read that slow communication builds trust faster.

That's a point I've been turning over in my head. Quick responses can feel rushed, but slow ones might seem like you're not paying attention. What does 'slow communication' look like day to day? Is it about pausing before you speak, or choosing your words with care? I get that taking time can show you value the talk, but how slow is too slow? Have you found a sweet spot that works for building trust without causing frustration?
