Vent: My neighbor in Austin said my raised beds were a waste of space for just herbs.
He argued that dedicating a full 4x8 bed to basil, thyme, and rosemary was inefficient, but his point about maximizing yield in a small yard actually made me reconsider my whole setup plan.

My neighbor tried that last year and her tomatoes got covered in powdery mildew from the marigolds. I've always kept them separate for that exact reason.
