TIL using a cheap plastic tarp under my raised beds was a huge mistake after my yard flooded last spring.

I switched to a proper woven ground cloth and the drainage is way better, so what's the best heavy-duty fabric for a wet climate like Seattle?

Interesting that @bennett.riley had luck with plastic, but it really depends on your soil type. My clay just held all that water like a bathtub. A heavy woven polypropylene cloth finally let things drain right.
