Serious question, I began using companion planting in my raised beds.
I started putting basil near my tomatoes to help with bugs. The plants look good, but I'm curious if this works for other veggies too.

Try planting marigolds next to your beans. They keep the bad bugs away while the beans grow. Works like a charm in my garden every year.

Man, I'm just waiting for the day someone tells me their zucchini and squash are having little plant arguments over who gets to sit next to the nasturtiums. We're out here running a tiny green neighborhood with all its own drama and politics.
