Overheard a guy at the coffee shop talking about his new smartwatch battery life
He was telling his friend his new watch lasts about 4 days on a single charge, which is way better than his old one. He said he used to have to charge it every single night, which made him forget to put it on some mornings. I've been thinking about getting one, but the daily charging always seemed like a hassle... Has anyone else found a watch that actually lasts a few days without being a huge brick on your wrist?

Honestly I'm with lee72 on this, charging every night isn't that bad. You're already plugging in your phone, so just make it part of the same routine. A watch that lasts days usually means you're giving up features or it looks kinda basic.

Four days is a game changer, makes it feel like a real watch instead of another gadget to babysit. My old one was a nightly chore and I'd wake up to a dead screen half the time. The newer ones with simpler screens seem to hit that sweet spot, not too bulky but they last the weekend. It's worth hunting for one that cuts the charging cord out of your daily routine.

Switched to a watch that goes nearly a week and it changed everything. Forgot to charge my old one constantly and missed morning alarms, which was a real problem. Now I just put it on the charger while I'm in the shower a couple times a week and it's always ready. That freedom from the daily cord hunt is what makes it feel like proper jewelry, not a tech burden.
