Appreciation post: Wireless earbuds won me over after I gave them a shot
Tbh, I always thought wireless earbuds were just a gimmick for people with too much cash. My wired ones worked fine, so why switch? Then I got a pair as a gift and figured I'd test them during my commute. Holy cow, they were a game changer. No more yanking cords when I pull my phone out, and they fit so snug I forgot they were in. I could pause my podcast with a tap, which was clutch when my boss walked by. After using them for a month, I'm totally sold on the convenience. Now I tell everyone to ditch the wires and go wireless, it's that good.

Did you see that news bit about how phone companies are ditching the headphone jack to force us into wireless? I read that and was pretty annoyed at first, like it's just a cash grab. But then I borrowed my friend's wireless buds for a run, and man, not getting tangled up changed my mind fast. It's funny how something so small can make such a big difference in daily stuff. I still think the battery thing is a hassle, but the trade-off is totally worth it for the freedom.

Wait what, you BORROWED someone's wireless buds? That's like sharing a toothbrush man, ew. But for real yeah the no-tangle thing is a game changer, especially when you're moving around. I still hate charging them though, mine are always dead when I need them most. Guess we're all just stuck with this now.

About ditching the jack, I read it boosts Bluetooth accessory profits.
