Just dropped $300 on a 'client management' app that almost tanked my whole month
It was supposed to automate my invoices and scheduling, but it sent a test 'Your project is overdue' email to my biggest client. I spent half a Tuesday doing damage control. What's the worst money you've spent on a tool that backfired?

Oh man, that's the worst. My buddy had his phone do a weird sync and it wiped his entire vacation block. He showed up to work on a Monday when he was supposed to be at the beach. How does that even happen, you know? He spent half the day trying to convince his boss it was a tech glitch and not just him skipping out. Total nightmare.

Wait, did you lose just the meetings or the notes too, @sandrac55? That's a huge problem if the app nuked the details and call links. I'd be calling every single person to figure out what I missed.
