I spent $300 on a 'client magnet' course that was basically a PDF of generic advice

Honestly, it was a guy on a freelance forum who kept pushing it, saying it would fill my calendar. The whole thing was just a 20 page document telling me to network more and have a good portfolio. I could have gotten that from a free blog post. Ngl, I felt pretty dumb for falling for the hype. Has anyone else wasted cash on a 'secret system' that was just common sense?

My cousin bought a $500 "Instagram growth blueprint" last year. It was literally a checklist telling her to post consistently and use hashtags. She was so mad she printed it out just to shred it.

Printing it out to shred it is the real power move. That's the only part of the blueprint that actually gave her control back. The rest was just expensive common sense.
