TIL our foundry's air is a lot cleaner now that we filter the exhaust.
We used to cough through shifts, but now you can actually breathe.

Yeah, calling clean air a 'special treat' really shows how low the bar was. We just accept so much garbage as part of the job (you know, like aching backs from old equipment). It's wild that basic safety feels like a win now.

That's really good to hear they fixed that. It's wild what we just accept as normal for a job sometimes. Coughing through your whole shift sounds miserable and honestly not right. Breathing clean air shouldn't feel like a special treat. Glad it's better for you guys now. Makes a huge difference just feeling okay at the end of the day.
