My so-called 'healthy' granola bar was just candy in disguise

Honestly, I grabbed a bar yesterday that said 'made with real fruit' on the front. Tbh, the ingredient list was mostly sugar and oil, with just a tiny bit of fruit powder. This feels like a straight-up lie to trick busy people. They should have to show the top three ingredients right on the label. Ngl, I'm throwing the whole box out.

Marketing on food packages often exaggerates, but calling it a straight-up lie might be overreacting. The ingredients are listed on the back for a reason. People should just check before they buy.

Ever bought something because the front said 'natural' only to find a bunch of additives inside? I get @mitchell.iris point, but honestly, who has time to decode every label? My rule is to scan for the first three ingredients since that tells you most of what you need.

Used to trust the front, but one bad buy fixed that.
