My grandma's orange juice trick from 1985
Bought a bottle of "100% pure" orange juice last week. Checked the label closer. It had added flavor packs. My grandma used to squeeze actual oranges in her kitchen in Nashville. No label tricks back then. Just fruit. Why is "100% pure" allowed on something with added stuff?

Man look for brands that say "not from concentrate" and check for actual ingredients listed.

Feels like every aisle in the grocery store is trying to sell you a processed version of something that used to be simple. Makes you wonder what else we're overcomplicating without even realizing it.

Actually "not from concentrate" doesn't always mean it's less processed, it just means they didn't remove the water and then add it back later lol. Some "not from concentrate" juices still get pasteurized and stored for months before they hit the shelf, so they can lose just as much flavor and nutrients as the concentrate stuff. Your point about checking actual ingredients is solid though, that's really the only way to know what you're getting.
