Vent: My lazy afternoon watching bees showed me a new color combo for spring bouquets

I saw bees always pick the same flowers next to each other and copied that mix in my work (it just clicks with customers now).

Are you telling me bees have been better at color theory this whole time? I mean we're out here with Pantone books and mood boards, and they're just like "hey the purple one next to the yellow one slaps." It's kind of humbling. Maybe we should just watch more bugs instead of taking those expensive design classes.

Actually bees aren't making aesthetic choices, they're just following survival signals we can't see. Those flower color pairs evolved together because they reliably guide pollinators to the food. We're copying millions of years of tested plant communication, not insect art direction.

Wait so you're saying the bees aren't even picking colors they like? @thea_mitchell20 that makes it even weirder. Those flowers basically have secret signs saying "food here" and we're just copying the billboard. Makes my design work feel way less creative now, like I'm just reading old plant mail. Crazy how much we miss just watching things, right?
