That chaotic wedding order last Friday actually taught me something about prepping hydrangeas.
I was totally against using floral foam for them, but after seeing how the stems I prepped in water for 6 hours still wilted under the lights, I caved and tried a foam block soaked in alum solution, which a vendor in Charleston swore by, and they stayed perfect all night. Anyone have a different trick for keeping those thirsty things alive?
