A bride's love for my basic vases led to more gigs

I always go for plain glass vases in my arrangements. Most florists I know hate them, but I think they let the flowers shine. Last month, a wedding client said it was the best choice for her decor. She told her planner, and now I have three new events lined up. It feels great to see my simple style win out.

Vases totally shape the event's mood! For a rustic wedding, mason jars with wildflowers created a cozy, laid-back atmosphere. Nice vases don't take away from the flowers though, they add to the whole vibe. Some of my best work started with a really cool container.
