Hot take: vacuum sealing leftovers ruined my fridge organization

I went all in last Saturday and vacuum sealed like 15 meals from my Sunday meal prep. Now I have these weird bricks taking up the whole shelf and I can't tell what's chicken and what's soup without opening them. The bags don't stack right and they slide everywhere. Is there a trick to making these things actually fit in a normal fridge or did I just waste $40 on this sealer?

Watched a youtube video that said to freeze them flat before stacking.

Did you try the bag trick or just chuck em in there?

Honestly I had the same problem for like two weeks until I figured out that you have to portion everything before you seal it. I started doing 2 cup servings max so the bags are more like flat rectangles instead of weird bricks. Also the freezer trick helps but only if you lay them flat on a baking sheet for a few hours before stacking. If you just toss them in they slide around just like you said. The sealer is actually worth it once you figure out the system but yeah the first batch is always a disaster lol.
