My taco bell order in phoenix came with a single, perfect jalapeno slice placed on top like a tiny green hat.
I stared at it for a full minute before my friend said, 'guess they ran out of the good stuff' and we just started laughing.

Imagine the cook back there treating that jalapeno slice with total respect, like it's the final piece of art for every order. They probably have a whole system for picking the best one. My local spot just dumps a random handful in the bag, so that single perfect slice feels kinda special.
