I had to pick between the new spicy chicken sandwich or the classic burger at a drive-thru yesterday. Went with the sandwich and it was a cold, soggy mess.

Ugh, that's the worst kind of letdown. You take a chance on something new and it just completely fails. Always feels like the classic option would have been safe and hot.

Consider the regret itself as a kind of seasoning. It makes the memory of the bad choice sharper, so you really learn the lesson. Next time that safe classic will taste even better.
