Had to pick between Popeyes and KFC for a work lunch run last Tuesday

I went with Popeyes because the chicken sandwich hype is real, but the biscuit was so dry I had to dunk it in my soda, has anyone else noticed their biscuits going downhill lately?

Popeyes biscuits have gone full on Jekyll and Hyde lately. Some locations still have that buttery flaky magic, but the ones near me taste like they've been sitting under a heat lamp since the Clinton administration. Here's the thing nobody mentions though: ask for the honey when you order, but specifically the honey packets in the bag, not the drizzle. That artificial honey drizzle they brush on is what makes the exterior turn into a concrete shell before you even leave the parking lot. Save the cold honey packets for when you're ready to eat and it changes the whole experience.
