Dropped 18 bucks on a limited time sandwich and it was basically bread and sadness

I walked into a major chain last Thursday and paid $18 for their new 'premium' chicken sandwich that was supposed to have truffle aioli and crispy onions. What I got was a dry patty on a stale bun with maybe three soggy onion bits and no sauce at all. Has anyone else had a hyped up new menu item completely fail to deliver like this?

Bread and sadness" should be the official name of that sandwich, honestly. I'd rather they just admit it's a scam than pretend there's truffle aioli in there. At this point I'm convinced the "premium" in premium chicken sandwich means they used premium bread and premium disappointment. You got robbed twice, once by the price and once by the taste.

Highway robbery" is right. I paid fifteen bucks for a sandwich that was mostly bread and a single sad slice of turkey once. It's like they think we don't notice when they're just phoning it in.
