Offered a bundle deal on Facebook and tripled my sale in one afternoon

Honestly, I was trying to sell a old coffee table for $40 and getting nowhere. Then I saw someone in a local group mention bundling items together for a higher price. So I threw in a lamp and a rug I also wanted gone, listed the whole set for $100, and got a buyer within 3 hours. The lady actually said she was looking for a complete living room setup, so she grabbed it immediately. Has anyone else tried bundling random stuff like that and seen it work better than selling single pieces?

oh man that reminds me I tried something sort of similar last year with an old bookshelf and a bunch of random knickknacks I had sitting around. listed them all together as a "vintage corner display" or whatever and someone bought it within a day. I was just trying to clear out space and honestly I think people like the idea of getting a whole look at once without having to hunt for pieces. plus it makes you look like you know what you're doing with decor even if you're just throwing stuff together. the lady who bought mine said she was decorating her guest room and didn't want to go to three different stores so it just worked out.

Isn't it wild how throwing random stuff together makes people think you're a professional decorator? I did the same thing with a beat-up dresser, a wonky mirror, and some old baskets, listed them as a "boho vanity set," and sold it for triple what the dresser alone was worth. @grantadams you're totally right that people just want a shortcut to a finished look without hunting at three different places.
