I was sure that 'quick cash for old phones' thing was a total scam

But last week I sent my cracked iPhone 12 to a site called GadgetGrab, and they sent me $135 within two days (I was only expecting maybe 50 bucks). They had a clear list of what each damage level was worth, which made me feel better. Has anyone else had a good surprise with a buyback program they didn't trust at first?

Nah, I'm still super sketched out by those sites. My friend got like half what they promised after they had his phone.

Wow, that's the kind of surprise I need in my life! I held onto my old phone for like two years because I was so sure those sites would just ghost me after I mailed it. Maybe I should finally dig it out of my junk drawer (you know, the one with all the old chargers).

Honestly, my old laptop is probably fossilized in that drawer too.
