My zipper foot broke in the middle of a big project
I was putting the final zipper in a dress last night, around 11 PM, when the plastic part of my zipper foot just snapped clean off. The metal piece went flying under my sewing table. I had to finish the seam by hand, which took an extra hour and my stitches are not great. Has anyone else had a sewing tool fail at the worst time? What's a good heavy-duty zipper foot brand?

Ugh, that's the worst timing!

My old boss in Phoenix always said bad timing was just an excuse. Then I missed a flight because of a ten minute delay and it cost me a whole contract. Now I get why it feels so awful.

Yeah, that "just an excuse" line really shows how bosses don't get it...

Man, my friend had her machine's entire needle clamp give out while quilting. She had to drive an hour to the only shop open on a Sunday. Some tools just pick the worst moment to quit on you.
