Just nailed a design with leftover fabric scraps
Most designers toss them, but I think they add unique texture. This top I made is my new favorite piece lol.

'Most designers toss them' isn't quite right. Many of us hold onto scraps for patches or tests. The texture thing works, though.

Those tiny swatches barely make a decent patch anyway. Hardly seems worth the debate.

Wait, you actually get enough fabric in those swatches to use for patches? Mine are like the size of a postage stamp, I mean what can you even do with that?
