I had to choose between a bold floral print or a simple geometric pattern for my spring collection in Atlanta.

I went with the geometric pattern, and the feedback from my focus group of 20 people was split right down the middle, so what's the better choice for making a real statement?

Clark is totally right, a split vote means you've got two strong options. The geometric pattern is a POWERFUL choice for a statement. I did something similar last year and doubling down on that clean, sharp look really made the collection feel intentional. People remember the boldness of a clear vision more than a safe, pretty choice. You can always add a touch of the floral idea through accessories or a single standout piece if you want to nod to both sides.

Ugh, a split vote is SO stressful. Been there with my last photoshoot, everyone was torn between two concepts. Going all in on the geometric one was the right call, it gave everything a clear point of view. That clean look really does stick in people's minds.

A split focus group is actually a great sign, it means both choices have real power. The geometric pattern will probably feel more modern and sharp, which can be a stronger statement than a pretty floral. Maybe lean into that clean, bold look with your fabric choices and cuts to really make it stand out.
