Been seeing more farriers pick up basic forging for fun

It's neat how many are making their own hoof picks or small tools now. I just finished a simple fire poker for my shop, adds a personal touch.

Cool to see more people giving it a shot. Makes the work feel more personal. How was your poker to make?

Always saw it as extra work, but this changes my view.

That 'extra work' line hits home. I was right there with you, @the_hannah, but now I get why it's worth it.
