So I finally tested the '5 second rule' with my toddler's dropped toast... and the lab results came back.

Wait, they actually sent a chicken nugget to a lab? That's next level, lmao. I can't believe someone went through the trouble and paid for that. Kind of genius though, now I'm never picking anything up off my floor again.

Oh man, the lab results thing made me remember my buddy did something similar. His kid dropped a chicken nugget on their kitchen floor, which is... not clean. He sent a piece to one of those home test kits for fun. It came back with stuff that basically meant you shouldn't eat it. He said it was the fastest five second learning moment ever.

Man, that story from @wyatt_green31 is a perfect example. We're surrounded by stuff we just assume is fine until we actually check. It's a little scary when you think about it.
