Just looked it up after my friend swore you can't get a sunburn on a cloudy day. The Skin Cancer Foundation says up to 80% of UV rays can pass through clouds.

Wait, is that why I got so burned that one overcast beach day? I learned the hard way and now I just slather on sunscreen no matter what the sky looks like. My dermatologist said the same thing, clouds don't block the bad stuff. I keep a cheap face stick in my car so I never have an excuse to skip it.
