Swapped my dead car battery at 6am in an AutoZone parking lot last week
YouTube told me it would take 10 minutes but the rusted bolts added 45 more and now I keep a breaker bar in my trunk, anyone else dealt with that headache?

And yeah @pat_schmidt60, you're not wrong about PB Blaster doing the trick, but manning that rusted bolt at 6am with no coffee in you just hits different. I feel your pain on the breaker bar though, it's one of those things you just keep around after the first time it saves you. I still have a scar on my knuckle from a socket slipping off a stubborn terminal.

Oh come on. A breaker bar isn't some life-changing tool. I've changed batteries in worse spots at 4am in a blizzard. Rusted bolts are just part of the deal. You grab a can of PB Blaster and it's over in 15 minutes.

Rusted bolts are just part of the deal" - exactly. That whole mindset carries into everything, not just working on cars. You just accept that some jobs are going to kick your butt and you deal with it or you find the shortcut that works for you. The breaker bar thing reminds me of how people treat belt holsters for drills, some guys swear by them and others just stick the tool in their back pocket and move on.
