Shoutout to the Everett Public Works crew for fixing that pothole on 41st Street

I reported that huge pothole near the library two different ways last month. First I just called the general city line, and nothing happened for weeks. Then I used the SeeClickFix app on my phone and uploaded a picture. The crew was out there filling it within 48 hours. The app with a photo made all the difference, maybe because they could see the exact size and location? Has anyone else had better luck getting stuff fixed around town using a specific method?

So the city's official policy is to ignore us unless we send proof? Classic. Guess I'll just start mailing them polaroids of every cracked sidewalk. Works way better than paying taxes, apparently.

Ha! Right? Might as well start a whole scrapbook of complaints. I'm picturing a binder full of photos of every pothole and broken streetlight with little sticky notes saying "please fix by Tuesday" or whatever. Like that's gonna get their attention faster than the 311 calls that go nowhere.
