My neighbor said the city would never fix that pothole on 41st and I should just report it myself
He told me this last spring after my tire got a bubble from hitting it. I went online and filed a report on the city's website, thinking it was pointless. Two weeks later, a crew showed up and patched it. Now I tell everyone to use the portal instead of just complaining. What's something else around here that people should actually report?

Why bother if they'll just ignore it anyway?

Yeah, that "ignore it anyway" feeling hits hard. I get it, @casey16. Sometimes it feels pointless. But gotta keep trying, right? Even if it's just for your own peace of mind. At least you know you said something.

Totally get that feeling, but honestly I figure if I don't report it then it's a guarantee nothing happens. At least this way I know I tried, and sometimes it actually works.
