Just realized I've been to 50 different Everett parks in the last two years
I started a little personal challenge to walk a new park each week after I moved here. I kept a list in my phone notes. Hit number 50 yesterday at Forest Park, which was the first one I ever visited. It's wild because I didn't set out to hit a number, it just happened from trying to get outside more. I feel like I know the city so much better now, from the big ones like Howarth to the tiny neighborhood spots. Has anyone else done something like this and found a hidden gem I might have missed?

Congrats on hitting 50, that's awesome. I gotta point out though, Forest Park isn't in Everett, it's in Everett, Washington. I live near the other Everett in Massachusetts and we don't have one, so I got super confused for a second lol. Your project still sounds really cool, makes me want to check out more spots around here.

Wait, are there seriously two Everetts? That explains why my map app looked so confused when I tried to find it, lmao. Good catch @paul251, my bad for the geography fail. I guess my project just got a lot harder if I have to check which state every town is in now. Still, glad it made you want to explore your own area, that's the whole point.

That's a really good catch about the two Everetts. Makes you wonder how many other towns are out there with the same name in different states. So when you're looking for spots near you in Massachusetts, what kind of places are you hoping to find? Like, are you more into parks and trails, or maybe weird little local history things?
