Finally got the city to add a crosswalk near the library after months of emails

Started pushing for it last fall when my kid almost got hit trying to cross. Anyone know who to thank at Public Works for getting it done so fast?

That's awesome news, and scary about your kid. Good on you for sticking with it and sending all those emails. These things should not take a fight to get done.

Absolutely terrifying! My neighbor's kid got his arm stuck in a fence last summer, and the panic was unreal. Took three of us to bend the bars and free him.
