Appreciation post for a stranger at the Everett library

I was looking for a specific local history book and a man there spent 20 minutes helping me find it, saying 'This city's story is worth the hunt.' Has anyone else had a random act of help like that around town?

My buddy got his car jumped at the Safeway on Broadway last winter.

That Safeway lot is a total battery graveyard. I had to get a jump there two Februaries ago when it was like ten degrees out. The guy who helped me had these tiny cables that barely worked, and we both just stood there shivering for twenty minutes. My fingers were so cold I could barely hold my coffee after. That place just eats batteries for breakfast.

Remember that Safeway, @johnson.daniel? I swear that parking lot is cursed. I saw a guy trying to use jumper cables that looked older than my dad, and his battery just smoked. Another time, some poor soul had their hood up for so long a shopping cart got stuck to their bumper. It's like a support group for dead batteries.
